When learning a foreign language, you'll always want to spend more time listening, and less time reading. When you do read, it should be about grammar.

Sound, of course, is easier memorizable than text. But a language is always all about sound. You'll learn the language, accent, grammar rules, and pretty much everything else there is to know about a language, simply by listening. For example, you could watch movies with subtitles.

If you're looking to learn a new language, make sure you find a course that concentrates on sound and interaction, as there is simply no better way.

Taht's right. IT definitely is one of the main reasons why kids never learn the language they get taught in school, all their teachers focus on is grammar and nothing else, when they finally get achance to speak, they don't really know how to pronounce any word neither listen to them.
