In order to make activities meaningful and relevant , students should understand that the concepts and skills that they were able to learn in class can be applied in the future. Students should learn by doing . For this to materialize , students should be given opportunities to interpret or form their own meaning of new / unfamiliar concepts by connecting it to familiar experience or situations to make it enduring . Immersion / simulation activities would help learners understand the relevance of the skills learned . Through theses activities , students can visualize themselves as problem – solvers .

Yes, it's a good idea to do application to every theory or subject for better learning. It will encourage a child to like their study because they are able to experience what they are studying. It's also a way of teaching them to listen attentively. They are being handed with responsibility that they are aware and the free will to do the task. It's a challenge for teachers to motivate and mold every child's personality to be better in every aspect.

The most serious problem learners undergo is not knowing how what they are learning will help them in future. One time in school we learnt bases like binary or base two, base 6, base 8 etc. These bases could not help us in future. Most lessons should help in the future

meaningful and relevant activities, this really depends on how student's interest and how the activities would make them think about their future,. some student's nowadays really don't care about their future and just wanna do things they want to do.

I like the idea about doing meaningful activities. When I was a high school student, we enjoyed interviewing teachers of other schools. It is a different activity from the usual activities in schools like the glee club or the dance troupe. That interview is like we are news reporters or documentary journalists.
