ⓘ The Age of Data

All Ages How much do you rely on technology for your work?

For me, yes. Technology is already a big part our lives, it compasses our everyday activities more than we think it does. Our smartphones, smart TVs, watches, digital clocks, laptops, internet connectivity, the entire world wide web, private and public transport, traffic system, radio, workout equipment, payment processing... I can go on forever. Technology impacts our lives way more than we know it, and industries are already shifting towards digital modalities as consumers become more and more tech-savvy.

Internet utility, though already prevalent, will peak all the more after this pandemic.

There's no way I can work without technology. Matter of fact, it is true that technology took away the job of many, but it is equally true that it gave many jobs

Talking about the jobs replaced by technology, it's really challenging to such people affected but the truth is that technology seems to be much more effective and efficient in carrying out those human jobs.

It's a situation that is inevitable as long as human existence is concerned. We just have to deal with it.

Technology doing jobs more efficiently than humans is one truth humans are finding hard to swallow, but it is true anyways.

The speed and force at which technology is advancing is so great that anyone who'd be thinking of stopping or pushing it back, or refusing to flow with it, is plainly wasting his/her time.

The best any human can do is to learn to make the utmost use of technology, that alone will empower you and make you efficient in living in a 21st Century world.

Exactly. No matter how good technology has proven to be in the industry sector, it still requires a human labor to be efficient and effectively used in carrying out the tasked set for it. So, in reality, technology still depends on humans as well for the time being.

Yea. Technology will always depend on humans, giving us the deserved upper hand. The adoption of technology into our 21st century loves is not a thing one should worry about; it only calls for a new way of doing things, a change.

Adaptation is one of the characteristics we have as humans, and it exactly what we need at this moment; you either adapt of you die/phase out

Human intelligence is very important to incorporating the use of technology and getting the best of it. It's only the upgrade of or to artificial intelligence in technology that might take out human impressions on the use of technology out of equation. I'm hoping it doesn't get to the point where humans are no longer required to do anything where technology can be used.

That'll mean the easy life. That has driven technological advancement since we know it —to make life easy. If it gets to the point where our inputs are no longer required, we at that point may have gotten to full of extent of what we've worked years for —an easy life.

But the negative consequences that could arise as a result should be dreaded, seriously.
