Dear Nerdy Book Club Readers,

As you know, the last week in September is Banned Books Week. We celebrate our freedom to read and #SpeakLoudly against the censors who seek to curb that freedom.

In our own way, we thought we'd like to be part of the celebration by encouraging others to pick up some of the books that have been challenged or banned:

We're looking for you – our amazing readers – to help us by writing a micro review (2-3 sentences long) on children's and YA books that have been challenged or banned.

The ALA maintains records of challenges and bans and puts that information into easy-to-read lists available here in case you're not sure what titles you might write about.

Be warned – many of our beloved titles have real estate on this list.

Of course, that ought to make it easy for you to write a short, positive review that might, hopefully, encourage someone else to read it.

Thanks you in advance for your participation!
