Teaching/Tutoring Experience |
I have been a language teacher for children and adults for over 20 years, including tutoring children on other subjects. |
About Me |
Professional Biography | I started working with young children when I was 16 before starting my professional training as a language teacher. I also hold a degree in History and specialised in 19th century social history. Throughout my studies, I took every possible opportunity to gain more practical experience in teaching and tutoring. I taught at primary and secondary school level in Scotland and Germany, taught students and postgraduates in Sydney/Australia and now run my own language school as a social enterprise in Glasgow?Scotland. Growing up bilingually myself, I have a particular interest in multilingualism and the support families require in achieving their goals. I specialise in working with young children who enjoy learning German or English. In order to be successful and reaching your goal it is important to create a fun and engaging environment which is why I focus on learning through play. |
Highlight | There have been many but working with bilingual children is probably closest to my heart. |
