Microvounteering: A Teachers Resource Guide 2013-10-25

Introduces the concept of microvolunteering as an aid to good citizenship

  1. HelpFromHome
The Teachers Resource Pack introduces students to the concept of the microvolunteering arena by describing its beneficiaries, pros, cons and action types. Microvolunteering is defined as 'easy, quick, low commitment actions that benefit a worthy cause’, that will take between 1 - 30 minutes to clomplete. Uniquely we believe, it allows students to put into practice what they have been taught by providing suggestions for microvolunteering within the classroom and actual class lesson itself. Methods used, include call out sessions, activity notes.
