Ages 7-9 | KS2.i Hundreds, tens and ones using Base 10

Good lesson! I like the student-pair base 10 exploration. The connections between each activity flows well too. Before sending students to explore, I think this portion could have the teacher quickly model with a student what they will need to do when they’re working in pairs.
Good lesson, could be followed from an ipad for anyone wanting to do this lesson. Perfect 👍
To be better could have a game or something at the end to help consolidate. e.g. Martin's Gold Mine, where the students need to help him count his gold.
