Steps:
Other words to focus on:
- Select words the student(s) are prone or likely to muddle.
- Put the words on display and see if there are any techniques you can discuss that will helps remembering which word to use. For example:
Display: Witch
Discuss: "Can cast spells that make you 'itch' so you can easily distinguish it from which."- Once you have discussed ways to remember the word, say a sentence containing the word once and get the student to write it down, e.g. "The hideous yellow witch put a spell on me"
