Age Restrictions
You must be over 13 years old to join EdChat. We recommend all minors have parental concent before using the platform. If you are looking for a tutor or teacher but do not meet our age criteria, you must ask your parent or guardian to create an account and use the site for you. External links may be added by any member to their publications or resources and are selected and reviewed when the page is published. However, the EdChat Network is not responsible for the content of external websites.

Buying and Selling Services / Jobs [EdJobs & Services]

The EdChat Network facilitates interactions between:

  1. Students or Colleagues (the 'Receiver'); and
  2. Teachers, Tutors or Instiutions (the 'Provider'),

making it easier for the Receiver and the Provider to locate, communicate, arrange payment and deliver the services in a fast and secure manner (the 'Services').

By proceeding to buy, sell, offer, or otherwise engage in the exchange of jobs & services through EdChat, you acknowledge you have read and accept the Service T&Cs.

EdChat Rights
If you violate the letter, spirit of this Statement, abuse our site, our advertising sponsor, or otherwise create risk or possible legal exposure for us, we can stop providing all or part of EdChat online to you.

The failure of EdChat to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. In the event that any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
